Get to know Caitlin

Hi! I’m Caitlin and I’ve just started my role as a Revene Professional Trainee with Cynllun Yfory.

I’m a former pupil of Ysgol Brynrefs in Llanrug. After completing my A levels there, I completed my Degree in History at Bangor Univeristy. This was before moving on to do a Masters Degree at Cardiff University in International Business Management. At the moment I’m still writing my Dissertation after things got delayed due to the Coivd-19, but I’m hoping to finish it by October 2021.

In my spare time I enjoy doing various things such as baking, playing guitar & piano and going to discover the secret lakes of Snowdonia. However, I wouldn’t be completely honest if I didn’t talk about my complete obsession with Formula 1, and have supported Team McLaren since I started my first race at the age of 5.d due to the Coivd-19, but hoping to finish it by October 2021. I’m half Australian so naturally Daniel Ricciardo is my favourite driver.

Although I am brand new to the Council, I am keen to establish strong relationships with my colleagues and so far everyone has been very kind to me! During my three years on the course I will be studying towards a level 7 Diploma with the CMI which is the same level as an Advanced degree. I will also study towards the IRRV which is assessed on a module basis to get a solid base of knowledge on the Revenue department.

I hope to update these blogs regularly over the Cynllun to give an idea of how I am progressing and the things I get up to on a daily basis.

Catch you later!
