Welcome back to my blog! A lot has happened since I last updated you, so here’s a snapshot of my experiences over the last few months:
My biggest news is that I have been offered a secondment within the Highways and Municipal department as a Waste / Recycling Data Officer.
To list just a few, my role includes responsibilities such as:
-Co-ordinate and prepare relevant information / reports for the Council, Assembly and Environment Agency through Waste Data Flow
–Raise public awareness by managing different campaigns across the County-Deal with agreements / income
-Lead on strategic projects
-Collaborate with other Councils and Organizations
There is no doubt that recycling is a key priority for us as a nation, with Wales at the forefront of recycling. Because of this, working on projects that lead to the goal of making Wales a waste-free country is very exciting.
I’ll be reporting back on my experiences here – so watch out for my next entry.
